Going Forward with GF Piping Systems
How do you make a very specialist business, piping systems, that is usually out of sight and hidden inside walls tangible for people that are not familiar with the brand or the product? That was the particular challenge we were facing when shooting a corporate film for GF Piping Systems. To make it exciting we found analogies and interesting chase studies to tell the story. Alessandra, an American actress that already shot with Georg Fischer previously, served as the main protagonist and lend her voice for the film. She definitely gave the subject, of what could possibly be very corporate and dry, a fun and entertaining delivery.
During a first production block we covered all the scenes including Alessandra and employees. Amongst them a suspenseful intro-shot where the actress had a “free fall”. In a second production slot we focused on products and experimented with probe lens and creative lighting techniques. We had a blast shooting with Alessandra and the GF team. Hafzoo is also happy to announce that the film is nominated at the corporate film festival in Cannes.

They include a science-based target (SBT) for reducing CO₂e emissions by 21% by 2025.
Water loss // …a global infrastructure problem in the headlines. Due to the globally aging water distribution infrastructure, non-revenue water (NRW) is a major issue for water utility companies worldwide. Retrofitting existing water networks with modern pressure management systems helps avoid leakages and lost water. By developing highly engineered products and industry-leading technologies, GF Piping Systems create solutions that span the water cycle.

History // Georg Fischer is proud of it’s long history of success with roots going back more than 200 years when Johann Conrad Fischer laid the foundation. What began in 1802 with a small copper smelting plant and development works for new alloys, has since developed in to the global industrial concern we know today. Towards the end of 19th century, the company first began by producing the long-standing malleable cast iron fittings, thereby creating the basis of today’s division GF Piping Systems. Today, it is established as a leading supplier of piping systems for the safe and reliable transport of liquids and gases.
