Hafzoo filmed with two renown free-skiers, Björn Heregger and Stefan Häusl in the Austrian ski area of the Arlberg for a new campaign promoting the Tirol Tourist Board. The film explores the region’s snowy landscapes, by following the pair on their daily exercise run’s, enjoying the winter environment. Shooting conditions where tough for cameraman Hanno Mackowitz, his batteries and the crew at around -13°C and when listening to the windy field recordings you can almost feel the chill. The sound concept and sound design was developed together with Peter Kollreider from Hoeragentur Vienna. The Arlberg region is a hotspot for the freeride community and the terrain and the way one can access off-piste ski routes are particularly good.
